How do you put sponsor logos on a spinnaker?
Send the logo, the sail details and the intended use to your sailmaker and ask for the graphics to be produced by sailprint.eu. We decide with the loft whether the logo should be printed into the sail or applied as a changeable graphic, then produce it in full colour at a weight the sail can carry.
The sail is the largest surface a sponsor can buy
A logo on the hull is seen at the dock. A spinnaker is seen from the whole course, from shore, in every race photograph and in every social post that follows. For a sponsor comparing what a campaign delivers, the sail is the part of the boat that travels furthest.
This is also the practical argument for funding: happy sponsors bring more funding, more funding builds stronger projects, and stronger projects win.
Permanent or changeable
If the sponsor is committed for the life of the sail, print it. If the sponsor rotates by event or by season, use a changeable graphic so the sail is not retired with the contract.
What we need from the sponsor
Vector artwork, the exact colours if they are brand-controlled, and any rules the sponsor has about clear space and minimum size. Everything else — scale on the sail, position, how it reads at distance and on camera — we work out with your sailmaker.
